HAMLET PROTEIN is pleased to inform that as of Oct 1, 2008, its current CFO, Søren Munch has been appointed new CEO of HAMLET PROTEIN A/S and HAMLET PROTEIN HOLDING A/S. This is part of the planned generation change of the company management. Ole Kaae Hansen, who will continue both as shareholder and as member of the Board, will focus on Business Development introducing new products and applications on the market. Furthermore, Ole Kaae Hansen will devote more time to strategic issues.
Søren Munch has a thorough understanding of and acquaintance with the soya business, also from his former position at Solae. In addition and with a view to strengthen commercial operations and preparing a smooth generation change in this function as well, it has been decided to appoint a CCO (Chief Commercial Officer), reporting to Søren Munch.
Stephen Paul Rose continues as Sales Director and will report to the CCO, for whom the search is being initiated. We hope to have the new person on board by the end of the year.
HAMLET's financial controller, Carsten Frees, assumes the responsibility of Financial Manager.
We are confident that with the above changes, HAMLET is in position to implement its ambitious growth strategy.
