                                                                                                                                               3. feb 2009
AddPro AB, Sweden’s leading IT integrator specialising in advanced IT solutions, expands through acquisition

Sweden’s leading IT integrator specialising in advanced IT solutions, AddPro, is strengthening its market position through acquisition of the IT security specialist Defensor Sverige AB. Both companies are thereby consolidating and strengthening their positions as leading players in the Swedish market for IT security and communication solutions.

The acquisition provides a further boost to AddPro’s expertise and offer in the area of analysis, test and training. Defensor has an office in Malmö and is involved in projects all over Sweden and internationally.

“We see very great potential in the market, with constantly increasing demand for expertise in security and communication solutions. By acquiring Defensor, we can create a unique solution and model for our customers and the market generally,” says Nicklas Persson, Managing Director of AddPro AB.

“We have worked with AddPro at various times on different projects and contracts, so discussions of a merger have felt completely natural, and the initiative has come from both parties,” explains Andreas Fagerström, Managing Director of Defensor Sverige AB.

The combination of Defensor’s expertise in analysis and AddPro’s expertise as an integrator produces a very strong market player that will enable AddPro to design a unique and total model and undertaking for the customers, both in the security field and the infrastructure area.

“In times like these, with defensive strategies and negative headlines, we are especially pleased to announce an offensive and market-oriented merger. We are building a very strong platform from which to deliver market-leading solutions with a product and service combination that will be very interesting for both customers and employees,” continue Nicklas Persson and Andreas Fagerström.

“We already have some new models on the drawing board based on the expertise of both companies. When these are launched shortly, they will really make an impact in the market.”

In 2009, the combined companies will have approximately 180 employees, of which 145 are technical consultants. Forecasted sales are SEK 320 million, with strong profitability.
