BabySam is a leading baby product retailer in Denmark. The company operates 31 stores in Denmark. Additionally, the BabySam chain has two shops in Iceland, one on the Faroe Islands and one shop in Greenland on licence.
BabySam offers a complete range of baby equipment including baby carriages, pushchairs, nursery, clothing, bathing, safety and feeding products. Some of these products are sold under BabySam’s own brands such as Meda, Odder, Scandia, Be Kids and Basic.
BabySam also owns Odder Barnevognsfabrik A/S, the only Danish manufacturer of baby carriages. Odder carriages are solely sold through the BabySam retail stores.
Polaris will realise synergies by converting BabySam into a capital chain as well as by consolidating activities in the Nordic market.
