Scandinavian Track Group (STG) has signed an agreement to acquire Dalaspår. STG and Dalaspår are both active in the market for construction and maintenance services for the Scandinavian railway network. Through the acquisition of Dalaspår, STG will broaden its market offering to include machinery services and thereby become an even more comprehensive provider of railway services.

Headquartered in Borlänge, Sweden, STG delivers services to the so-called BEST market (Tracks (Bana), Electrification, Signaling and Telecommunications) throughout Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The STG group consists of several specialised companies and Dalaspår will with their machinery business become another strategically important part of the group.

Dalaspår is based in Borlänge, Sweden, and focuses on welding and mechanical services aimed at the players involved in maintenance of the Swedish railway network.
