After 22 years within the Louis Poulsen Group, Erik Holm has chosen to resign with effect as from ultimo January 2006.
The resignation is the result of the divestment of 2/3 of the Louis Poulsen Group - Louis Poulsen El-teknik A/S - to J. F. Lemvigh-Müller Holding, which has caused an essential change in his job description. Consequently, Erik Holm has chosen to leave the Group.
Peter Thorsen will take over the responsibility as new CEO of the Group. During the last 7 years, Peter Thorsen has been responsible for the clothing company ‘Bison’ and the bicycle lock- and lamp manufacturer ‘BASTA’, in which Peter Thorsen has or has had a significant part of the ownership. Mr. Thorsen is qualified cand.merc.aud., he is 39 years old and has previously held several managerial positions in e.g. ‘KEW Industries’, ‘Elektrolux’, and ‘Marwi International’.
Peter Thorsen enters upon his new duties on January 1, 2006 and will receive support from Erik Holm the first month.
